Mounted and display options

Mounted & Display Prints

Choose mounted or ready-to-hang prints when the finished piece needs structure, presence, or easier display. Compare rigid mounted prints, hardwood framed prints, and gallery wrapped canvas before you order.

Choose your display format

Three ways to make the print display-ready.

Production quality

Structure, finish, and file review for display work.

Multiple media paths

Mounted prints can use selected photo, fine art, or canvas media. Framed prints offer Luster or Photo Rag, while gallery wraps focus on finished canvas presentation.

Rigid, framed, or stretched finish

Choose rigid backing for flat presentation, a hardwood frame for traditional ready-to-hang wall art, or stretched canvas for a frameless finished piece.

File and edge review

We review size, resolution, crop, mat opening, and edge treatment so the finished display format matches the file.

Preparing your file

What display prints need from your file.

Mounted, framed, and gallery wrapped prints need a final crop that accounts for the backing, mat opening, frame, or wrapped edge.

  • Mounted prints need clean final dimensions because the print is applied to a rigid backing.
  • Gallery wraps need edge allowance. Keep signatures and critical details away from the wrapped edge.
  • Framed prints show the full image while dimming the area outside the selected print or mat opening, so you can review what will be cropped.
  • Use canvas media on Mounted Prints when you want a flat canvas board-style result.
  • Upload a high-resolution RGB file and let the studio review crop, edge treatment, and production fit before printing.

Display print questions

Mounted and display print questions, answered.

What is the difference between mounted, framed, and gallery wrapped prints?

Mounted prints are flat prints applied to rigid backing. Framed prints pair Luster or Photo Rag with an Appalachian hardwood frame and optional white mat. Gallery wrapped canvas prints are stretched over wooden bars with finished wrapped edges.

Are mounted prints ready to hang?

Mounted prints are rigid and display-ready, but hanging hardware depends on the backing, size, and final use. Framed Prints include an installed sawtooth hanger, and Gallery Wrapped Canvas arrives ready for wall display.

Can I order mounted canvas prints?

Yes. Mounted Prints can include canvas media when available, giving you canvas texture on a rigid flat board instead of a stretched frame.

Can I order mounted photo prints or mounted giclee prints?

Yes. Mounted Prints are the best product page for mounted photo, fine art, and canvas media instead of splitting each mounted media type into a separate product.

Which option is best for custom wall art?

Choose Mounted Prints for a rigid flat piece, display board, or signage. Choose Framed Prints for hardwood framing with an optional white mat. Choose Gallery Wrapped Canvas Prints for finished frameless wall art.
