Customers submitting artwork or photographs for printing must own the copyright to the content or have obtained proper authorization from the copyright holder.
By submitting content to The Stackhouse, customers affirm that they have the legal right to reproduce the work and that it does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
Prohibited Content and Termination
The following types of content are strictly prohibited for submission:
- Copyrighted material without proper authorization.
- Trademarked material used without permission.
- Content that violates applicable laws or regulations.
How to File a Copyright Claim
If you believe your copyrighted work has been reproduced or used inappropriately through The Stackhouse’s services, you may file a claim by providing the following:
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The location or identification of the allegedly infringing material.
- Your contact information, including your name, address, phone number, and email.
- A statement affirming that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is unauthorized.
- A statement that the information provided is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

Responding to Copyright Claims
Upon receiving a valid claim, The Stackhouse will:
- Investigate the issue promptly.
- Remove or disable access to the infringing material if the claim is verified.
- Notify the customer who submitted the material of the claim.
If the customer believes the claim is erroneous or has resolved the issue, they may submit a counter-notification, which must include:
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed in error.
- Their contact information and consent to jurisdiction in the appropriate legal setting.
- A description of the material and its original location.
- Their physical or electronic signature.
