THE STACKHOUSE PRINTERY, LLC
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Last Updated: 1/2/2026
The Stackhouse Printery, LLC operates this website. Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to The Stackhouse Printery, LLC. The Stackhouse Printery, LLC offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or placing an order, you engage in our services and agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all terms and conditions, you may not access the website or use our services.
1. OUR SERVICES
The Stackhouse Printery, LLC is a custom fine art print lab providing made-to-order print products manufactured directly from customer-submitted digital files. All products are custom produced based on the files, specifications, and instructions provided at the time of order.
2. FILE-ACCURATE PRINTING POLICY
Print-What-You-Send Standard
All products are produced exactly from the digital files submitted by the customer.
- We do not edit files
- We do not color correct files
- We do not retouch, adjust, or modify files
- We do not interpret files or compare prints to original physical artwork
We do not see or reference original artwork. We only receive the digital image provided and reproduce it as accurately as possible using a color-managed printing workflow.
By placing an order, you confirm that all uploaded files in the order are final, print-ready, and approved for production.
Any differences between a printed product and an original artwork are the result of the submitted file, photography conditions, lighting, camera settings, color profiles, or display differences and do not constitute a defect.
3. COLOR ACCURACY & EXPECTATIONS
While we take reasonable steps to reproduce submitted files accurately:
- Screens are not standardized
- Photography introduces variation
- Embedded color profiles and file preparation affect results
We cannot guarantee that printed colors will match how an image appears on your screen or how a physical artwork appears in person.
Differences in color, tone, brightness, or contrast resulting from the submitted file do not qualify for reprints, refunds, or adjustments.
4. CUSTOMER FILE RESPONSIBILITY
You are solely responsible for:
- File preparation and quality
- Color accuracy and appearance
- Resolution and sizing
- Embedded color profiles
- Cropping, borders, and composition
By submitting files, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and approved them for print as-is.
5. COPYRIGHT & OWNERSHIP
By uploading files and placing an order, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the rights to reproduce the submitted content, or
- You have obtained permission from the copyright holder
You agree not to submit content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others. The Stackhouse Printery, LLC assumes no responsibility for copyright violations committed by customers.
6. ORDERS & PRODUCTION
All products are custom-made. Once an order enters production, it cannot be modified or canceled.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders that appear to violate these Terms.
7. PRINT-ON-DEMAND (POD) & THIRD-PARTY FULFILLMENT
The Stackhouse Printery, LLC offers print-on-demand (POD) production and fulfillment services for approved customers, partners, and integrated ecommerce platforms.
By using our POD services, you acknowledge and agree that:
- We manufacture products solely from the files and order details submitted
- We do not control how products are marketed, priced, sold, or represented by third-party stores or platforms
- We do not guarantee sales performance, customer satisfaction, profit, or business outcomes
Production & Delivery Limitations
While we take reasonable care in production and shipping, POD services are subject to variables outside of our control, including but not limited to:
- Carrier delays or delivery failures
- Address errors provided by the customer or platform
- Damage occurring in transit
- Customs delays or international shipping issues
The Stackhouse Printery, LLC shall not be liable for:
- Lost revenue or profits
- Missed launches, promotions, or deadlines
- Chargebacks, refunds, or disputes initiated by third parties
- Business interruption or reputational loss
Our liability, if any, is limited solely to the reprinting or replacement of the affected product, at our discretion, in cases of verified manufacturing defects.
8. RETURNS, REPRINTS & REFUNDS
Because all products are custom-produced:
- Returns are not accepted for color, appearance, or file-related issues
- Reprints are not provided for customer file errors
- Refunds are issued only in cases of verified manufacturing defects or shipping damage
Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.
