Why the stackhouse

Two canvas formats. One color-managed workflow.

Start with the finished form you need. We handle the color, canvas surface, inspection, and packaging for either path.

Archival pigment color

A color-managed workflow preserves detail, tonal range, and the character of your file.

Matte or satin canvas

Choose low-glare matte or a soft satin sheen based on the image and display environment.

Rolled or hand-stretched

Keep control of the finishing process, or let our team build a complete ready-to-hang gallery wrap.

Printed in Pensacola

Every canvas is printed, inspected, and packed by the Stackhouse production team in Florida.

Canvas print FAQ

Choose the right canvas
before you upload

What is the difference between rolled canvas and gallery wrapped canvas?

Rolled canvas arrives without stretcher bars, so you can stretch, mount, or frame it yourself. Gallery wrapped canvas is hand-stretched over wood bars, finished on the sides, and delivered with hanging hardware.

Should I choose matte or satin canvas?

Matte has a smooth, low-glare surface that works well in galleries and bright rooms. Satin has a soft sheen that gives color and contrast a little more presence.

How much extra canvas should I add to a rolled print?

Choose borderless for trimming or mounting to the image edge. Select 1-inch or 2-inch extra canvas when your finishing process needs material for stretching or handling.

What gallery wrap edges and depths are available?

Gallery wraps can use mirrored, black, or white edges on .75-inch or 1.5-inch wood stretcher bars. The order tool shows the available combinations for your size.

What sizes and production times are available?

Rolled canvas supports custom sizes from 4 x 4 through 40 x 60 and typically takes 3 to 5 business days. Gallery wraps offer standard sizes from 8 x 10 through 36 x 54; custom requests can be reviewed through the order tool. Typical production time is 5 to 7 business days before transit.
