Why the stackhouse

What you actually get when you print with us

Four things that matter to an artist sending their work to a print shop.

12-point inspection

Every order passes a 12-point quality inspection before it ships.

100+ year archival

Fade-resistant inks on acid-free, archival stock. Built to last over a century in normal display conditions.

Museum-grade materials

Archival papers and finishes chosen for the work you make. Pick by hand-feel, surface, and finish, or request a sample set.

Florida-made, fast

Printed in Pensacola. Most orders ship in 3 to 5 business days. No overseas wait, no broken supply chain.

How we make them

Every print goes through three steps before it leaves the shop

All fine-art orders are checked by people before they leave the studio.

File Review

We review your uploaded artwork before production and flag anything that needs attention.

Frequently asked questions

Questions artists ask
before their first order

What file format should I send?

Send the highest-resolution file you have. JPEG works well for most orders, and TIFF is a good choice for archival or heavily edited artwork. Use an embedded RGB color profile and review your crop before ordering.

What paper should I choose?

We offer several archival papers and finishes to suit different work. If you are unsure, request a free media sample set to compare them in person before you order.

Do you automatically color-correct my file?

We print through a color-managed workflow, but we do not automatically retouch or reinterpret your file. If something looks risky for print, the team can flag it before production.

How long will it take?

Standard loose-print production is typically measured in business days before transit, and timing can vary by product, order volume, and shipping method. The order flow confirms the available options.

How do borders affect final size?

You choose the printed image size first. Borders are added outside that image area, so a bordered print has a larger final paper size than the selected image size.
